Creative Online Project
During the Covid pandemic we’ve been unable to meet up face to face, so started meeting up weekly online via Zoom. At the start of lockdown we began a 16-week creative project involving recording, photography, art, poetry, film and writing. The result of the project was a selection of collaborative pieces, including ‘Our Shared Mantelpiece’, ‘Message In A Bottle’, and ‘What the Phoenix Project & True Thoughts means to me’.
Our Shared Mantelpiece features a selection of special and personal objects belonging to the group. Scroll down to listen to the personal story behind each object.

“My youngest granddaughter was in a gift shop with my daughter, and came wandering up to her mum with this in her hands, and goes “Mum can I buy this for Nanny?”. Knowing it was her idea really touched me. My daughter did say she nearly dropped it when she saw the price! Which I don’t know. It means a lot to me.”
