WORKING TOWARDS MENTAL WELLBEING

A welcoming and social community combating isolation, stigma and discrimination for those affected by mental health issues.

The Phoenix Project has been running since 2009. It currently offers a weekly programme of support through the Phoenix Club which meets on Fridays from 10am - 2pm at the Friends Meeting House in Fonnereau Road, Ipswich. Hot nutricious lunches are served from midday.

The afternoon creative programme will be re-starting on 25th October with the last session on 6th December. The programme will include gentle movement, mindfulness and creative activites.

Talking about Mental Health

The Phoenix Project is all about combating isolation, tackling stigma and giving a voice to people with experience of mental health issues. Members of the Pass It On Collective and True Thoughts projects have been getting together at South Street Studios, sometimes with invited guests, to talk about the things that support their wellbeing.
